Local people have chosen to help homeless patients at The Royal London Hospital, donating £3,800 to charity Pathway through the sale of Tesco carrier bags.

Older patients can now enjoy a bedside ‘café’ and garden, with the opening of two sensory spaces at The Royal London Hospital.  

Young patients at Newham Hospital are enjoying escaping into a good book, thanks to a visit from The Children’s Literacy Charity to mark International Book Giving Day (14 February).

Patients are getting specialist emergency treatment quickly and avoiding trips to hospital thanks to an innovative service launched in East London, the Physician Response Unit (PRU).
